Welcome to our theme for the summer of 2014, PRAYER!!!
This is similar to what the church in Lansing is currently doing, so we will be using much of their material. This helps keep us connected to them.
As well this means we are able to use the awesome material Joel Nagel has already prepared.
Its a great theme for the summer as often people go away on holiday or wilt in the hot weather, and so helps keep us focussed and united.

If you wish a complete printout please let me know, as I have not printed it out for everyone merely to save on the cost of paper and ink.

We will also be working from the book "They Knew How To Pray: 15 Secrets from the Prayer Lives of Bible Heroes" by Tom Carter.
I ordered 8 copies of this book at the beginning of June, but have so far only received 3 and the rest may not now arrive at all. I will try to obtain some more, but in the meantime we can share the books we have.
As well I will scan each chapter as we go and include them below. I think you will find this book amazing, so do please read! It is only two short chapters a week, so should be quite easy going.
I will also be receiving some lesson notes from Joel, and so will probably include these below, just for your additional reading, as well as being a rough record for you of what we will be teaching on Sundays and Thursdays.
